ETIQUETTE .I. To be multi-ship , multi-fandom , crossover , oc & multi-muse friendly . I will always read your rules so please read mine. I follow back fairly quickly depending if I’m logged on or not. I’m also not terribly selective but I am MUTUALS ONLY so please do respect that! I adore original characters but I do expect an about page, this goes for canon blogs too.II. I rarely unfollow honestly, but there are a few reasons I might. 1) if your words and actions make me uncomfortable or you partake in some big no’s to be listed later in this section, 2) you were inactive (ie. have not made a post or anything) in six months.III. para & novella roleplays are my preferred way to write . I can strain myself to do one - liners but they will always turn longer unfortunately. This however does not mean you need to match length at all! I can get a bit long winded admittedly and I'm not going to hold you to that standard. I also enjoy chatting in the tags!IV. I may post art, as I do enjoy drawing and do it frequently. Any art that may appear posted by me will most likely be my own and will be noted/tagged as such. I have an art blog @godweaver on tumblr / same @ on twitter. Commissions are currently closed.V. i will NOT be writing : rape , pedophilia , incest , beastiality , fetishes , cheating , age-ups of underaged characters for shipping purposes , genderbends / cisswaps , bigotry , transphobia , homophobia, etc . If I spot you writing this it will be a block from me!VI. I format my text a little, not a lot. I don’t mind how much you format or do not format though. You do you! If you need me however to tone down my formatting i’ll be happy to oblige!VII. i do not practice reblog karma, meaning you’re free to reblog memes from me regardless if you send them in or not. I don’t mind! I just ask you to not reblog posts that don’t explicitly have anything to do with you (ie. starters, threads, etc.) If you’re allowed to reblog something i’ll make a note in the tag stating it’s free to reblog.VIII. I have no triggers personally, but any and all triggering content if it comes up on this blog will be tagged as such: #trigger tw if there is anything specific you need tagged please don’t hesitate to ask!IX. if you unfollow me and we are mutuals, i’d prefer you softblock. Not a requirement, but a preference.X. I understand every fandom / source material has it’s issues but I want to trust those out there writing from certain things use their brains. That being said there are some things i’d prefer not to see, or interact with : hazbin hotel / helluva boss / vivziepop related media, 13rw, riverdale, there are more probably I can’t think of right now but yeah.XI. possible triggers that may appear on this blog semi - frequently mostly have to do with mental health and self - confidence issues in relation to the character’s backstory. Ie. suicide ideation. It will be tagged accordingly.XII. All art featured on this blog, unless stated otherwise, was drawn by me. All art in the icons was either drawn by me or commissioned by me. Blog will primarily be iconless until i accumulate more art.XII. The original concept and original blog was under the url (lightgiving) in 2015, I then moved the blog in 2017 to the url (wargod) in 2019 i completely overhauled the canon, then in 2021 i moved blogs (wargod) due to the clutter of being on the previous blog for 4 years. This blog is a sister blog to wargod, as the character exists within the same canon/story as the character on the blog wargod

Naga was once wild and brash. His attitude towards life as a youth was frightful and fruitless. What he saw in the world was worth less than himself, thus if he were to die it would be of no consequence. It was only later on did he begin to change, slowly but surely, into the man he is now. But that former delinquent still lives on in him despite the maturity over the years. Naga, who was once one to get into fights at the drop of a hat, now facilitates peace with an iron fist. As a monk he is well respected among his peers, most of which were once criminals like him, reformed into the ascetic life directly under divinity. The deity that he worships, and by extension the Myriad God they speak for, is one constantly busy and paranoid. Naga, being the right hand man of the deity, is superbly loyal and always candid with the deity, his feelings and opinions do not hesitate to drop from his lips. In order to keep his object of worship sufficed and relatively content, it’s necessary to not beat around the bush and be forthright. This extends to the rest of his life, being very blunt to the point of rudeness. But it is this trait of his that earns him respect, and the fact he can hold his own in a physical altercation despite not seeming all too muscular. Naga is exceedingly responsible and a remarkable multi tasker, being the one who manages the temple and organizes basically everything single handedly (cleaning duties, kitchen staff, donations, community outreach, disciplinary measures, someone you can just go to if you need help) etc. He comes off as cold and temperamental and has a nasty habit of cursing and shouting profanities on the regular but he is a good listener even if sometimes he doesn’t have the best advice.

TO PUT IT SHORTLY … * VERSE , ORIGINAL CANONThis grave sight. The eyes are always looking beyond the veil, at him. A feral child of the woods with eyes, living among the mountain ranges in the deep shelters of a green canopy. Naga was found by a hermit who had lived in the woods self sustained for many generations. The hermit was only ever sought out for one skill. Tattoo artistry. The land that they lived in, that breathed and hungered, was one under the myriad. The Motherland as the whole is called is well underway to a path of oblivion as immortality breeds stagnation, and thus the mortal coil fails to continue. The land as become a stagnant pool of water, festering with bugs and blood suckers, disease and rot. This is what the hermit believed, and he was right most of the way through. The Motherland was watched over by deities, the ones born closest to the Myriad Gods and are adorned with tattoo like markings that represent their power and status. Thus tattoos are seen as something sacred and a gift. Often given great meaning, often painted so meticulously and with care. Tattoos are commonplace, but there are a certain breed of tattoos that are seen as taboo. This hermit who lived in the wild and mountains in woods that seemed impossible to be grown, he was known when younger to be a monk of a past deity. From there he absconded with forbidden knowledge and fell into a place of crime and villainy. Treacherous acts were just that, treacherous. But truly heinous acts against humanity was the weaponization of what should be a dedication to god.The hermit's name was Heshin, a tall broad dark skinned man with long tangled knots of pale hair and markings across his body that would be painted differently each day. He was stiff, strict, an eccentric without being one. Heshin found this child who he named Naga tossed away. Perhaps kidnapped, maybe so cruelly disposed of, either way they were Heshin's child now. Heshin noted that this child had a stare. Dead, intense, unwavering. This child didn't seem to be looking with their eyes, but with something else.Naga grew up under Heshin, although he wasn’t much of a parent. The discipline he gave out was harsh but rare and Naga acted out for much of his childhood and into the teenage years. When he did go to town he stole and fought and was a general pest. Heshin did nothing and the two of them mostly bickered or sat together in silence during a meal. But the two did care for each other, maybe as father and son, maybe something more instinctual. Either way, Heshin eventually got around to teaching Naga of tattoos. It was in his late teens, early twenties when Naga began to learn of his caretaker’s roots. Being a monk and absconding with forbidden knowledge for one reason or another. ‘Why not stay with them?’ Naga asked ‘I’ve always been a thief’ Heshin replied. He was by no means bad, but instead facilitated and bred badness by extension. The tattoos he was able to produce out of ink wells and needles were more than just pictures on the skin. They held power.
Eventually Heshin passed on and Naga was left with his legacy in the form of a metal poking stick and a knowledge he’s unsure he wants to know. But Naga continued. He became a felon most remarkably, a blasphemer, a cruel person cold and calculating. He denounced the myriad and spat at the idols that were these deities towering over them. He brawled and stole and burned and attacked. This life was not one he enjoyed but it was one he knew, and sometimes there is a comfort in the familiar. But he started to notice, against the skin of some of the ruffians were tattoos distinct in style and specific in depiction. Eyes.He did not mean to inherit that first eye, the eye he’s seen scrawled against Heshin’s skin a few years back. But he did when a colleague died from a blow to the head, bleeding out his mouth and nose and waiting for death to take him. The eye was gifted, willed over to him and now he had an eye. These distinct eye tattoos are found in one of the larger countries in the motherland, then are traded like a blackmarket, stolen, gifted, transferred and regarded as sacrilege everywhere in the world. They are a currency of power in the criminal underground, a status symbol and an invitation for trouble.Naga ended up bearing the marks of a few eyes over the years. Whether beaten out of an opponent or given to him as an act of respect. But one eye was regarded as something of incredible value and he received it on accident. His single count of manslaughter is attributed to this incident. The accidental death a crime kingpin in the countryside and now Naga is in possession of both an execution order and a following of hundreds of similarly loyal criminals. It was in his cell where he was kept to face trial, when a deity of grand stature and intensity stood before him in black and feathers. The deity’s name was Starlis, and he preceded over funeral rites and death rituals for all the motherland. Making standards for burials, cremations, funerals and similar activities and anything regarding death, and life after it. Starlis was always a proud and borderline arrogant deity, seen as the more revered and powerful of his position and divinity. He had tattoos of course, but were often hidden under billowing sleeves. Starlis reached out to Naga with an offering. A deal was struck between the two of them, as were several before. To live in Starlis’ monastery and become a monk of death and rot. Robed in white for funerals, these monks stood under Starlis’ reign. They worshipped and found home within the temple they were somewhat blackmailed into joining. But over time they became loyal to the deity who gave them all a second chance.

TABOO TATTOOS , THE ARTISTRY OF WEAPONIZED KARMA* POWERS AND ABILITIES , ORIGINAL CANON + MODIFIED FOR DIFFERENT VERSESWhen you have done wrong, the wrongness seeps into the air. When you have cried, when you have killed, when you have smiled or laughed or sung, it becomes. Something. The act of spinning the colors of the soul from the environment into ink that can be painted with is an art that the divine ones wish could be forgotten. But some still practice it, gifting divine powers to mortals. The act of tattooing with such ersatz holy palettes is what makes them so sought after and priceless. Not only are they rare and considered deathly criminal, but each color seems to offer different abilities based on pigment and placement on the tattoo. The easiest way to discern placement is to make the tattoo easy to read from center to edge ( ie. a circle with various patterns within it, the splays outward in a uniform fashion ) Heshin’s specialty (now Naga’s) that blessed the criminal underground of Starlis’ domain is that of an eye.The colors of each eye represents different blessings, and the placement of the colors is also paramount to potency. There is a possible 537,824 combinations of eye structure. Each color gives a very small amount of varying abilities to the eye bearer and accumulates and becomes more powerful based on how many eyes they have.
![](assets/images/image08.jpg?v=65665bd2)
In basic terms the farther from the pupil the color is the weaker that gifted ability is:Lashes - farthest away
Lower lid - second farthest
Upper lid - middle
Iris - second closest
Pupil - centerDepending on where the color is located on the eye, it represents what the entity’s bestowed power. One color can take up multiple layers as well as each layer can be different.
![](assets/images/image10.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Aeonian - the gift of longevity. Depending on placement can give the beaer extra years to their life. Closer to the center the longer they will live.
![](assets/images/image13.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Dissimulate - To disguise. A color that morphs into another color when necessary, taking on the effects of named other colors. For example if Okuri needed more strength it would take on the color of Jacqueminot to make up for the lacking color.
![](assets/images/image15.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Memorabilia- remembrance. Gives the bearer extra ability to remember and recount certain things. Even the smallest of details may be remembered depending on how many of the color is present on the skin and at what intensity.
![](assets/images/image19.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Salubrious- of well off health. A color that breeds health. Keeps them at peak performing condition as well as heals up injuries faster and can sustain more wounds than usual.
![](assets/images/image22.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Penumbra- shadow mass, the instinctive and seemingly innate evil within the slain. This passes onto the bearer, this may or may not be villainess feeling. But it actually gives them empathy. To understand others at a fuller, deeper understanding. Their pain and why they are the way they are.
![](assets/images/image11.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Jacqueminot - the red of blood and ferality. Gifts the bearer with increased strength and bloodlust. The closer to the middle or on multiple layers the more intense the effects.
![](assets/images/image14.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Cynosure - the attention seeking, calls interest to. This color brings about interest to the wearer, makes them seem important by radiating a distinct aura that may or may not attract others for positive or negative reasons. Has a distinct effect of attracting haunts.
![](assets/images/image17.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Nirvana- place of peace and enlightenment. Gifts the bearer with clear thought when needed and with generally clear thought at all times. Calms and causes sereneness.

Xenoglossy- All speak, gives them the ability to comprehend languages as well as pick up on languages that they may not know, allowing them to converse with most anyone if enough of this color is accumulated.
![](assets/images/image21.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Elysian- delight. The feeling of peace that spawned at death, passed onto the bearer. This feeling of peace can be activated at their own time of death or can be passed onto others on their deathbed to ease one to eternal slumber.
![](assets/images/image09.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Impedimenta - to hinder growth. Slows the spread of disease and illness, as well as poisons from seeping into their body. The closer to the middle or on multiple layers the more intense the effects.
![](assets/images/image12.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Paucity - Fades into the masses. The opposite of Cynosure. Makes the bearer faint and timid, seen but unseen, forgotten upon first glance. The aura they radiate is so dull it causes many to disperse. (Paucity and Cynosure often cancel each other out, but with the help of Dissimulate either can be used to it’s full effects.)
![](assets/images/image16.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Quaquaversal - to see at many angles, many reaches, perception at great advantage. This color gives the bearer the ability to see and sense better than usual, than that of an average creature. May give the beaer multiple sights at once if concentrated on, a seer of sorts.
![](assets/images/image18.jpg?v=65665bd2)
Vivify- to give an extra burst of energy when in dire straights. The final and last attempt to evade second death of the entity slain compacted into this color. Gives a second wind to the bearer.

WHERE THE FLOWERS ARE MANY .* VERSE , HIGH FANTASY - LOTR, DND, ETC.NAGA, a human raised in the wilds by an eccentric hermit and sorcerer. Finding the child abandoned in the hollow of a dead tree stump he took the child up and raised him, although it was more the bare minimum of parenting. Instead he looked after the child as a protégé and one who could pass down his knowledge of magik arts, primarily that of imbuing power into others by ways of inking the skin with certain runes, insignias and ink. Naga, because the discipline with his guardian was so lax, became a bit of a delinquent in later childhood. There was plenty of instigations of brawls and bar fights, along with several counts of theft of various things. As he grew older he did begin to mellow out. Littered in experimental tattoos painted there by his guardian Naga quickly became an outcast, not generally appreciated when he comes to town as it’s usually to cause a ruckus. Evidently during his time with his parental figure, he ended up becoming accustomed to monk techniques, primarily focused on the way of the drunken master. He doesn’t quite consider himself a monk fully, but could easily be mistaken for one. He is currently wandering, his guardian having passed away a few years prior and with his matured attitude he can at least hold down a few jobs here and there. He makes his coin primarily with tattoo artistry and if given the right materials he can gift remarkable abilities to those who seek it.
WHERE THE SNAKES ARE DEADLY .* VERSE , MODERN - FANTASY , FLEXIBLE .NAGA, for anybody who wishes to refer to him. A reformed delinquent and criminal who is being harbored by a local temple. In exchange for hard work and being open to the teachings and tutelage of a particularly kind if now a bit eccentric older monk, he could stay within the ranks of the other monks and seek shelter and food within the temple. Over the next few years Naga lives an ascetic life although he's not quick to tell anyone he's a Buddhist monk, though he has found a deep respect for the religion and it's followers. In the meantime, Naga makes his money by tattooing, and sharing the wealth around to his mentor and giving back to the community. The tattoos he offers are of course, special. Naga has always had the strangest ability to seemingly imbue others with powers, feats of strength, agility, persuasiveness etc. He himself has never been gifted with such powers, but he's able to 'bless' other now by infusing whatever 'karma' has caught with you. He explains it as such "Good or bad, whatever you've done in your life follows you. I can take that energy and concentrate it down into a useable, weaponized essence. Say you killed someone, pretty rancid right? I can take that energy haunting you and put it back inside you, giving you an extra boost. But that tat is gonna rot you away eventually, but you're here for a good time not a long time right?"
